Personal Sessions


When we are working with trauma, our first step is to gently guide the nervous system back to a felt sense of safety. Trauma isn’t just about what happened- it’s how our bodies carry the imprint of those experiences. Rather than simply telling ourselves we are safe, we invite our bodies to feel it through supportive sensations- because that’s the language the nervous system truly understands.

Working this way allows me—the facilitator- to learn how your Incredible system has managed, adapted and protected you until now. By honoring how your system has carried you through, we can work with it’s innate intelligence rather than trying to override it.

Communication


During our time together, I’ll be listening closely and asking gentle questions. At times, I may invite you to use your imagination in a specific way- but it’s always your choice whether or not to take part.

Following a session, you may feel energized or a deep call to rest. Both are normal. Over time as held patterns begin to soften and unwind you may feel more at home in your body, more aware of your needs and more able to respond rather than react.

SE is often considered and helpful in cases of:

  • Physical accidents

  • overwhelming situations/close calls

  • life-threatening experiences

  • PTSD

  • anxiety, depression

  • emotional/physical abuse

  • developmental/relational issues

  • birth/prenatal experiences

  • a desire to get in touch with the felt sense/intuition

  • DID/MPD
